Go to Apple look at the Refurbished.They sell these out fast so you have to keep checking.When you see one Buy it for $1.349. This is not a old computer. just last years. You dont need all that junk that does nothing.

I consider any non apple computer is a waste of time and money. <br />However, when i looked at the review comment on the product page, i was astonished from one star rating. when i read carefully his comment, I realized that i was subjected to unfair deal. I doubled check and visited apple website and it was big surprize that the price of same order is 600 $ less than Amazon price. <br />i understand that this item is sold via third party but can never understand that amazon with all its trusted top quality service , may allow such mistreatment. I ordered this item one week ago. i already had imac but older one and i am extremely satisfied with apple product. I consider any non apple computer is a waste of time and money.

However, when i looked at the review comment on the product page, i was astonished from one star rating. when i read carefully his comment, I realized that i was subjected to unfair deal. I doubled check and visited apple website and it was big surprize that the price of same order is 600 $ less than Amazon price.

i understand that this item is sold via third party but can never understand that amazon with all its trusted top quality service , may allow such mistreatment.

And once you receive you iMac just take it into the Apple store and they will help you move your files from your windows machine to your new mac. And they are very nice about it, and very knowledgeable. The average user whose just surfing the net, figuring their taxes, and working with music, pictures and movies needs a machine that's user friendly. It is a different operating system so things are a little different then windows so if you take a few breathes and take just a little time to get used to the controls you will be rewarded with a system that doesn't require a shelf full of books and a IT department to support you. <br />The form factor is great too, and the display quality is beautiful. Get as much memory and the largest hard drive you can afford. But don't worry to much about hard drive space this machine has a firewire 800 port and this allows for really fast data transmission from external devices. The computer most people should have!
